Creative Ways to Fill a Pothole

New Orleans has a pothole problem. I know that, you know that, the city knows that. And still, nothing has been done about it.

If you’re like me, you’re probably tired of seeing a gaping pothole in the middle of a huge intersection with nothing but a few orange cones and some yellow tape to cover it up. Not only does it come across as lazy and hazardous (because it is), it’s just plain boring.

Realistically speaking, it’s going to be next to impossible to fill every pothole in the city. There are too many of them, and even if we did, because New Orleans sits on top of sand, silt and clay, these potholes are likely to show up again.

So rather than putting out those boring cones, we might as well use our creativity and ingenuity to our advantage. Here are a few ways that we can put potholes to good use:

If we’re not going to fill our potholes, we should at least enjoy them. Have any better ideas? Let us know via Twitter, Facebook, or in the comments below.
